Archive Manager
Crispin’s overall system architecture is modular, meaning that adding an archive solution to your existing system can happen at any time.
Archive Manager relies upon AssetBase, Crispin’s database system, to store details about all archived clips. It supports these automated tasks while also allowing manual tasks too.
Automated Tasks
Auto Restore offers an advanced automated task that monitors each channel for missing material and restores the missing material from the archive storage to the video server.
Auto Archive tasks can also be queued for execution based from actions in the playlist or record schedule. Archive tasks can also be initiated from Crispin’s ingest tools during the dub session.
Auto Purge allows for easy management of your archived content. This can be initiated by traffic, expiration dates or manually managed.
Manual Tasks
Crispin supports manually completing any of the automated tasks, plus more. Many of these operator tasks are required to properly manage the archived content. These tasks include archive, restore, delete, copy, rename, verify, format, import and export of content.
3rd Party Archive Integration
Crispin has interfaced with many 3rd Party Archive solutions. As many customers already have an archive system in place, this has become an important integration to continue to automate the tasks needed for play-to-air lists.
