A full-featured browser-based tool for viewing and management of all content for play-to-air needs.
Crispin’s database, AssetBase, is part of Crispin’s CORE product suite of applications. While Crispin’s playout solution is not database dependent, we do utilize AssetBase for storing and managing content and its associated metadata.
AssetBase Features:
- Browser-based tool that allows users to view, edit and manage media from anywhere on the network.
- AssetBase stores all typical information such as house numbers, ISCI, comments, durations, cue points, etc.
- AssetBase detects any media available on the video server. Metadata is automatically written to the database based on certain information provided by the video server, including file name/Material ID and duration.
- Traffic integration includes automatic discrepancy reports and dub lists.
- Archive System Integration for both Crispin Archive Manager or 3rd party archive solutions.

ClipCopX Features:
- Background operation that performs one-time or recurring tasks for supporting media management needs
- Auto-synchronize all video server content to AssetBase
- Mirroring of content between primary and backup video servers
- One-time or recurring tasks for file transfers and deletions with video servers
- Option to automatically delete based on purge dates, folder, and/or clips not needed by a given playlist
- Or hold deletions for operator approval
- Performs background maintenance functions & diagnostic logging per task.
- Executes archive and restore requests
