One of our customers, TEGNA, has announced that it will acquire WTOL, a CBS affiliate in Toledo, Ohio and KWES, an NBC affiliate in Odessa-Midland, Texas.

The acquisition is contingent on the Gray Television and Raycom Media merger that was announced in June.

Dave Lougee, president and CEO of TEGNA spoke about the acquisition, saying, “WTOL and KWES are strong, leading local media brands, with deep roots in their community. They are an excellent strategic and financial fit with our portfolio.”
